About This Workshop

Join us for a day of immersive cultural exploration through our Cultural Workshop Series. This event is designed to introduce participants of all ages to the rich traditions of African rhythms, dance, and storytelling.

Led by experienced artists and cultural practitioners, these workshops provide hands-on experience and deep insights into various artistic disciplines that form the backbone of African cultural expression.

Introduction to African Rhythms

Learn the basics of traditional drumming patterns and their cultural significance.

11:45 AM - 1:00 PM

Dance Traditions

Explore movement and expression through traditional dance forms.

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Lunch Break

Refreshments will be provided.

2:00 PM - 3:15 PM

Storytelling Circle

Participate in the oral tradition of storytelling and learn narrative techniques.

3:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Collaborative Performance
