Volunteer With Us
Join our community of passionate volunteers and help us spread the joy of African music, dance, and cultural arts while making a meaningful difference.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteers are the heartbeat of Ubuntu Rhythm Fusion. Your time, energy, and talents help us extend our reach, enhance our programs, and deepen our impact in communities across Uganda and beyond. Whether you have a few hours to spare or are looking for a more substantial commitment, we have opportunities that match your interests, skills, and availability.
As a volunteer, you'll not only contribute to preserving and promoting African cultural arts but also gain valuable experience, develop new skills, connect with like-minded individuals, and experience the joy that comes from making a difference in people's lives through the power of music, dance, and community.
We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and experience levels. What matters most is your enthusiasm, reliability, and commitment to our mission of cultural preservation, education, and community building through the arts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need special skills to volunteer?
Not at all! While we do have opportunities for those with specific skills (like graphic design or event planning), many of our volunteer roles require only enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn. We provide all necessary training and support.
How much time do I need to commit?
We have opportunities ranging from one-time event assistance to regular weekly commitments. During your orientation, we'll discuss your availability and find opportunities that fit your schedule.
Can I volunteer as part of a group?
We welcome volunteer groups from companies, schools, community organizations, and friend circles. Group volunteering is a great team-building activity and a meaningful way to give back together.
Is there an age requirement for volunteers?
Most of our volunteer opportunities are open to adults 18 and older. However, we do have some family-friendly volunteer activities where younger volunteers can participate when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Youth volunteer opportunities (ages 14-17) are also available with parental consent.
